COURSES IN SILVER RING MAKING AND PENDANT MAKING ARE NOW BEING HELD IN WILTON AND IN TISBURY!

Courses are also being held on Saturday October 9th and Saturday November 13th in Tisbury at The Workshop.

These workshops will teach you how to make either a silver ring or a domed and shaped silver pendant - the choice is yours!
You will be able to make either a ring or a pendant in one day! You can see a sample of the type of ring that you'll make, on the right hand side of the ‘Contact Us’ page of this site. On the same page you'll see a sample of a pendant that was made on one of these courses on the left.
During the course, if you decide to make a silver ring, you will be shown how to work out the size, you'll cut out the piece of silver, form the piece into a ring shape, solder - file and polish.
If you would like to make the pendant you will design your pendant and transfer your design to the silver and learn how to cut out the silver. You’ll dome the piece (if you've decided to go for a domed piece!)and shape the edges, polish and finish – leaving you with a lovely, well designed pendant that you’ve made yourself!
The day costs £55.00, plus £4.00 for silver if you are making a ring (totalling £59.00). If you decide to make a pendant, the silver would cost between £3-£12, depending on the size of your pendant. You can also make pendants in copper, in which case the copper would cost £2 maximum. Chains are available to purchase at an extra cost. Class sizes are restricted to 5 people maximum, so you will get lots of personal attention!
The course runs from 10.30 a.m. until 3.30 p.m. (approx).
Please bring your lunch with you, or if you are in Tisbury, feel free to visit the local Delicatessen in Tisbury, De-Liz, (http://www.deliz.co.uk/), for a snack.
In Wilton there is a lovely cafe called 'Peppers' and some very good pubs.

If you would like to book a place you will be asked to pay a deposit of £30, with the balance due on the day, alongside the charge for materials. If you decide to cancel with more than 14 days notice (to the course date) you'll not need to pay the balance but the deposit will be kept. |
